Chad and Maryanne's Wedding

Sunil's residency friend, Chad, married Maryanne in Delaware at Winterthur Gardens. Maryanne is a doctor herself, just finishing her last year at Dupont, Jahni's pediatric division at Jefferson. It was a beautiful, though hot, wedding. The bottom pic is the residency crew (plus me). The actual wedding ceremony was in the gardens....

Walking and Standing

Jahni is 11 months old today and in the past couple weeks she has changed a lot. For one, she has more balance now and can stand for 20 seconds at a time before falling. She also can hold onto anything her height and stand for long periods of time. Our friend gave us a toy walker (yes, the kind old ladies use to stabilize themselves as they walk) and she loves it! Every night we try to take her walking outside or down the hallway of our apartment building. Once she is off, there is not stopping our little walker, except of course, when she hits a wall (she has not learned to back up and keep walking yet). She is also much better at walking when someone holds one of her hands than every before. . . Pretty soon we'll be saying we can hardly remember when she didn't know how to walk!

Devi Aunty and Prakash Uncle's Visit

Jahni, the super popular cutie, has many many visitors. This week Devi Aunty and Prakash Uncle dropped in on their way to New Jersey to see Jahni. It was great to have them and Devi Aunty absolutely loves kids and I think Jahni could tell because she went to her pretty easily .... ;)
